Thursday/Envy split album streaming on Buzznet

This news was officially announced yesterday, but it was too tempting to wait until a Thursday to report it: Garden State post-hardcore act Thursday and the epic Japanese screamo band Envy have announced a split album on Temporary Residence Ltd., and the entire thing is streaming on Buzznet in advance of its November 4th release date. Quite the complementary pair of bands, those two! This puppy is only available on 180-gram vinyl, but each copy comes with a CD version, badass artwork from Dan Grzeca, and a remix of one of the Thursday traxxx done by Mercury Rev's Anthony Molina.

Not that Envy are in any way unworthy as a cross-wax compatriot to Thursday, but for their next release, I'm hoping that Thursday go for a seven way split with Happy Mondays, 'Til Tuesday, Wednesday 13, Gavin Friday, Saturday Looks Good To Me and The Sundays. That'd be a whole week of good news.

TRACKLISTING:

3. THURSDAY: An Absurd And Unrealistic Dream Of Peace
4. THURSDAY: Appeared And Was Gone (Remix by Anthony Molina of Mercury Rev)
