Throw Me the Statue Plan First U.S. Tour

Next week, following the Secretly Canadian rerelease of debut album *Moonbeams*, Seattle's Throw Me the Statue will come out of bedroom hibernation and embark on an interstate tour.  Salient dates include a gig with Stellastarr on February 28 at San Francisco's NoisePop! Festival and a spell at Austin's SXSW from March 12-16 (also see the Secretly Canadian Showcase on March 13 alongside, among others, former tour-mate Jens Lekman).     

On March 18th, Throw Me the Statue are set to play at Seattle's Chop Suey where, in January, Reitherman's band had filled the venue's inaugural month-long residency.  Beach House and the Papercuts will join them on their triumphant return.
