Throbbing Gristle might have officially disbanded in 2010 -- and lost founding member Peter "Sleazy" Christopherson -- but they still had plans to finish up their final album. The project, Desertshore, is the seminal industrial band's reinterpretation of Nico's John Cale-produced 1970 album of the same name.
And even though it's unclear when a finished version of the project will be released, it will be performed at the AV Festival in England on March 17 as part of a celebration of Christopherson's life. According to FACT, Throbbing Gristle's Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti will perform a selection of live remixes from Desertshore. There are additional performances scheduled for the event, which you can learn about here. Photo credit: Wiki.
