Not a good time to be heading to Swedish House Mafia shows. While the group is trying to have a good time on their farewell tour, a series of violence has followed them, first in Dublin and now in Milton Keynes, England.
Three stabbings took place at the electronic outfit's Saturday (July 14) gig at the Milton Keynes Bowl. A 23-year-old man is in the hospital for a punctured lung, while another was treated onsite by medical crews for "minor injuries." A 24-year-old man received cuts to his head and arm but has since been discharged from the hospital.
"This appears to have been an isolated incident...but we would like to trace the person responsible for this assault," said Detective Chief Inspector Justin Fletcher. Police are looking for a white man in his early 20s wearing a blue Nike T-shirt, a black jacket, and black jogging bottoms, and they encourage anyone with information regarding the suspect to contact authorities. As of this posting, there's no comment from Swedish House Mafia regarding the incident. [Daily Swarm/NME]
