Thomas Mars And Sofia Coppola Married In Italy
Spinner is reporting that Thomas Mars, frontman of Phoenix, married longtime girlfriend Sofia Coppola, director of Lost in Translation, in Bernalda, Italy this weekend. The couple has been together for a long time--meeting in 1999 when Mars worked with Air on a track for Coppola's Virgin Suicides--and having a child together in 2006. They've since had one more kid, and Phoenix's music has been featured in Coppola's work. The wedding was a intimate affair, and guests included Johnny Depp. [Spinner]
