Thomas Mars And Sofia Coppola Are Getting Married
In not-quite-music news but still worth a mention, Phoenix’s Thomas Mars and director Sofia Coppola are officially engaged! And we already know a creepy amount of information about the ceremony’s logistics! The couple will be tying the knot at Palazzo Magherita, which is apparently the Coppola family villa, sometime this August, (start claiming your camping ground now.) They’ve been dating since they met on the filming of Coppola’s The Virgin Suicides back in 1999 and already have two toddlers – 12 years deep seems like a fairly random time to marry but I’m not here to pass judgment.
Oh also, Phoenix are working on a new album, figured I should mention that. [Spinner]
