One of the most "lol" worthy moments in Twilight (a movie filled with lols, if you haven't seen it), is when Radiohead's "15 Step" starts playing over the end credits. There might be more "lols" in Twilight sequel New Moon, if you believe that film's director Chris Weitz's statement that Thom Yorke has expressed an interesting in contributing to the soundtrack.
Speaking to Rotten Tomatoes, Weitz said, "Fortunately, I'm not at the stage where I have to turn anybody down yet, because everything is still kind of up in the air, but I am surprised at some of the bands that have said they're interested. It's kind of great. The criterion will still always be what's right for the movie at that given moment, but Thom Yorke is interested. We might, if we're very lucky, get Kings of Leon to do something... It's exciting to be able to have access to this kind of talent."
According to Pitchfork, Thom Yorke's "people" have yet to confirm or deny this. I mean, Kings of Leon whatever, but Thom Yorke? Surely we are being trolled, yes?
