Thom Yorke, Four Tet, Burial Collaborate On New Single

Somebody’s been busy. In the past four weeks, Thom Yorke released a new album with his day job and spun a guest DJ set at the Low End Theory party. He follows by collaborating with producers Four Tet and Burial on a joint 12-inch single. “Ego” will be on the A-side, while “Mirror” will be on the flip. Four Tet provides the glue for this three-way: he previously worked with Burial on 2009’s “Moth” b/w “Wolf Cub” single, in addition to remixing Thom Yorke’s “Atoms For Peace” (which can be heard above) in 2007. Appropriately, Four Tet’s Text Records will handle the release. So, expect more electronic noodling.

Both songs premiere tonight, March 15 at 11:00 p.m. G.M.T. on Rinse FM during Four Tet's 2-hour appearance with Floating Points.
