Thom Yorke Debuts New Atoms For Peace Songs During DJ Set

This past Friday Thom Yorke and long-time Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich debuted a set of new songs from their Atoms for Peace group during a DJ set that the two joined forces on. The set took place at the Transmission LA: AV Club Festival. The free festival is curated by Beastie Boys' Mike D this year and includes 17-days of music and visual arts at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.

It isn't clear whether the new songs are from the forthcoming Atoms for Peace LP that is rumored to be released this year. From the fan videos of the songs, the tracks seems very similar to Thom Yorke's solo work with dark, glitchy electronic beats backed by Yorke's dreamy, wavering vocals. [NME]
