Thom Yorke And MF DOOM Are Working On A Record Together

Speculation mounted that Radiohead might produce a quickie follow up to the recently released The King of Limbs, but it’s looking more likely that Thom Yorke will issue a new solo effort first. The story leaked by rapper MF DOOM, who claimed in an interview with 3D World Magazine that he was working on a new venture with Yorke.

DOOM said that he was “doing some stuff with Thom Yorke. We’re working on some duets, some duet songs and shit. Just like preliminary shit but we’ll probably end up doing a whole record together.” He then added: “He’s cool—he got a lot of ill ass ideas and shit, you know.”

This puts a dent in Yorke/Radiohead’s usual veil of secrecy that they’ve managed to cloak most of their recent projects in, but we’re living in an era where it’s pretty much impossible to keep everything under wraps. So, there it is. A DOOM/Yorke collaboration, hopefully coming soon. Sounds pretty exciting.
