Thermals/Thao split 7″ for Record Store Day

Turns out Matador Records aren’t the only folks giving us some exclusive releases for Record Store Day on April 18. Kill Rock Stars is offering up a split 7" pairing up the Thermals and Thao with the Get Down Stay Down. The record will be limited to 1000 copies and will, of course, be available exclusively at RSD-participating vendors. The Thermals side will feature two demos from the forthcoming Now We Can See, due out on April 7, while Thao’s side will contain a previously unreleased track and a cover of a Lovin’ Spoonful song. So if you’re wondering about the humble beginnings of the next Thermals’ record, or if Thao’s seemingly unending coolness will rub off on a Lovin’ Spoonful number, then you’ll just have to trek down to your local record shop on April 18.
