You might remember that the Seattle, Wash.-based duo of THEESatisfaction inked a deal with Sub Pop last July. If not, well, you might have heard them on Shabazz Palaces' flawless Black Up album. If not, then it's time you get introduced to the self-described “lo-fi rebel hip-hop” act. They caught a buzz with several self-released projects, but this year we'll get a chance to hear their proper label debut in awE naturalE. It hits shelves March 27 and includes a blend of sounds they say is "equal parts Elaine Brown, Ursula Rucker and Q-Tip." Can't. Wait.
You can watch them perform earlier tracks "Pause" and "Do You Have the Time" live at KEXP below.
