The Yummy Fur Reunites For Set of North American Shows

The ‘90s revival just keeps on rolling. This time out it’s on a smaller scale, as the wonderful cult Scottish band The Yummy Fur has decided to get back together for a few dates. The band was formed by 1990s lead man John/Jackie McKeown, and often featured subsequent Franz Ferdinand members Paul Thompson and Alex Kapranos in the lineup.

 

Thompson is back on board for this brief set of dates, although Kapranos’s involvement is not yet known. The lineup will be bolstered by Brian McDougall, who played with the band back in the day. A no-doubt jubilant show in their native Glasgow will kick off the tour, and a set of dates in North America follows shortly afterwards.
