The xx Confirms Fall North American Tour

After booking virtually every major festival gig this summer, from Bonnaroo to Lollapalooza, London's The xx will once again be hitting the road for a newly announced fall tour that will take the "purposefully quiet" band from L.A. to New York to Montreal among other stops. 

Prior to the tour, The xx like many other hip acts before them, will make an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Aug. 4. NYC xx fans meanwhile will get a special treat this Saturday, June 26, with xx: A Sculpture of the Album by Saam Farahmand, which will be presented as part of the Creators Project at Milk Studios (450 West 15th Street). The audio-visual experience, which utilizes film, light and sound via three specially created audio-visual units to represent each member of the band, will "showcase the recorded album format in a whole new context" according to the announce.
