The White House Loves Guided By Voices

Major hat-tip to the folks at The Daily Swarm for this great little tidbit about Guided By Voices and their apparent number-one fan. Who is the fan, you ask? It's none other than White House Press Secretary Jay Carney, who previously gave a shout out to Robert Pollard and crew last summer. He's done exactly that again recently, though this shout might be a million times better than its predecessor:

“As you probably know, Dayton is the home of the Wright Brothers, the Dayton Peace Accords, and Guided By Voices, the greatest rock ‘n’ roll band of the modern era, in my humble opinion.”
