Abel Tesfaye, aka the Weeknd, continues to work his way into the world of mainstream music. Last week, we heard his much-anticipated remix of Florence + the Machine's "Shake It Out" and now we're learning that another huge pop singer has enlisted his services. According to Pitchfork, The Weeknd is set to provide his own take on a track off Lady Gaga's Born This Way for her upcoming remix album, the aptly titled Born This Way The Remix.
It's not clear which track The Weeknd will take on, but we do know that other featured acts on the remix project include Foster the People and Michael Woods. We also know that Born This Way The Remix is due out Nov. 21. On that same day, Gaga is also dropping a live concert DVD -- Lady Gaga Presents the Monster Ball Tour at Madison Square Garden -- that features footage from her New York City gig from this past February.
