The Weeknd Announces Debut European Date

    2012 is the year when Abel Tesfaye, aka Toronto R&B horndog the Weeknd, finally comes out of his bedroom and lets us get a look at what “The Zone” is like live. He’s already been announced as part of this year’s Coachella, and has a few more dates lines up, but there’s more: Tesfaye just announced his debut European concert. It takes place on June 2 as part of Pitchfork’s stage at Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona. Will Tesfaye have a whole band? Will he bring out Drake?Will he wilt at the pressure of actually having to be out? Will he get enough material for a new album? We’ll find out later this year.
