The Verve reuniting

Fire back up that bittersweet symphony, because Richard Ashcroft and the rest of the original lineup of The Verve are getting back together. The band has announced November live dates in the U.K. and may possible get back to work on a new album soon. No word on any U.S. touring as of yet.

I wonder what this means for the Good, the Bad and the Queen? Or whether that'll just be a one-off side-project for Simon Tong/all its members?

the shows they put on at irving plaza 10 years ago were still some of the best live gigs i've ever seen...this is really exciting news
