The Sword Hire New Drummer, Reveal Tour With Kyuss
We have some great news for fans of The Sword who have been down in the dumps since the band's former drummer, Trivett Wingo, left the band last year. The Austin, Texas metal outfit announced that they have officially added Santiago “Jimmy” Vela III to fill the hole left by Wingo. They also wanted to thank Kevin Fender, who has been drumming for The Sword since Wingo's departure.
In addition to adding Vela on the skins, the band also revealed 18 U.S. and Canada shows in support of Kyuss Lives. And once The Sword get back home in December, they will rest before prepping their fourth album in early 2012. You can view the tour dates below.
