Now I have something to put with Me First and the Gimme Gimmes's version of "Rocket Man"! Birmingham's realest MC, The Streets, has covered Elton John's "Your Song." The initial impression is that Kermit the Frog took an extended vacation in the British Isles and then decided to get serious and record some seventies-era Elton. The result is surprisingly catchy. Though "Candle in the Wind" and the Disney years make us tend to forget, Sir Elton laid down some serious tracks back in the day. Check out the song here on The Streets's MySpace
