The Scorpions To Break Up, Surprise People That Thought The Scorpions Were Already Broken-Up
German rockers/spandex enthusiasts The Scorpions have announced that they will be breaking up after a global tour that kicks off in March. This is news to everyone besides the Scorpions, because apparently, The Scorpions were still together as a group.
The band was started in 1965(!) but didn't get famous until the hair-metal boom of the 1980s. Their farewell tour will apparently hit five continents, which seems like they're betting there are a crap load of Scorpions fans in Antarctica (because there are none in Asia or Africa, obviously).
