The Roots' year-delayed How I Got Over has finally gotten a cover, with all signs pointing to the now-reported June 22 release date finally being the real release date for the album. We'll have to see if that holds up or not, but Questlove said last week it'd be out in June. Indie rockers like Jim James and Joanna Newsome guest on the album.
That's not all for The Roots though, they're guesting on John Legend's covers album, Wake Up Sessions, which is due out later this summer. [NahRight]
I see this getting delayed again considering the only single for the album so far came out last year...we'll see.
Yeah, this and Big Boi's album are competing for the silver medal in most delayed album. 'Detox' of course has the gold on lock.
It's mostly because Def Jam stinks.
Nah, this & Big Boi's album are bronzes. Deltron Event II gets the silver medal for most delayed rap/hip-hop album.
