Jack White may be busy with his burgeoning solo career, but the former White Stripes frontman hasn’t forgotten about one of his other bands. The Raconteurs will release a DVD/Blu-ray of a 2008 show from the Montreaux Jazz Festival on June 18, which is just a couple of months after White’s solo album, Blunderbuss, comes out.
The Raconteurs reunited toward the end of last year, for a September show at White’s Third Man record store in Nashville. It’s not clear what the band’s current plans are outside of this DVD release, but don’t be surprised if the ever-busy White, who rivals Damon Albarn for productivity, has something up his sleeve.
