The Polyphonic Spree provide song for The United States of Tara (Video)

The Polyphonic Spree have been at work on the followup to their 2007 album, The Fragile Army, but have recently premiered some new music. Namely, the opening sequence to a new show on Showtime called The United States of Tara, which apparently follows a woman with multiple personalities and is written (probably with phrases no one would never, under any circumstances, ever say) by Diablo Cody. The song gets mellow and gets happy (and mellow again, and happy again) at the drop of a hat, presumably like the show's main character (don't ask me, I haven't seen it, nor do I aspire to).
