The Pixies Offer 2004 Coachella Performance As Free Download
Remember when The Pixies got back together? Remember how you and your friends who weren’t able to see them in their original incarnation, collectively went ape-shit while listening to Surfer Rosa on repeat for three and half months? They came, they toured, they disappeared again. What happened?
Alas, the Los Angeles four-piece is back in the news with the recent re-launch of their website where they are now offering their 2004 Coachella show as a free download. Are The Pixies about to announce news of a new album as hinted by Frank Black in 2009 NME article? We can only hope. We also hope that if this is true, it sounds better than “Bam Thwok.”
