John Cogleton and his band The Paper Chase are back with another bunch of creepy, ramshackle pop songs. In May, the band will release Someday This Will All Be Yours on Kill Rock Stars, and all signs indicate it is bound to be over-the-top and darker than dark. In other words, it's another Paper Chase record. Cogleton wrote each song with a natural disaster in mind, and apparently came up with so many the band will release Someday This Will All Be Yours (Part 2) sometime in 2010. You'll notice that, in the track list to Part 1, Cogleton included "the human condition" as a natural distaster. Oh John, you are just too much.
