Via CMJ:Can this be true? Did Budapest's the Moog become the first band from Hungary to sign to an America when with its recent signing to MuSick? The band's debut album, Sold For Tomorrow, will be released on April 10.
Produced by Jack Endino, who has crafted albums by Hot Hot Heat, Zeke and the debut album by some group called Nirvana, the group is certainly one to keep an eye on, if sheerly for the novelty of it. The album plans to carry "the listener on a ride through the ups, downs and new beginnings we all experience day to day, but the upbeat melodies never allow for any melancholy."
They'll be playing four nights in a row at SXSW in March. Check out what's hip in Hungary at their myspace page.

This band is amazing!
