The Libertines Set To Play More Shows
It looks like The Libertines cash cow is set to stumble into life once again. The band reformed to play some headline slots at the Reading and Leeds festivals in their native England last year, but those lucrative paydays were followed by a lengthy silence from the members of the group.
Now, Carl Barat has revealed that a deal has been signed that will include a “meaningful amount” of Libertines shows in the next year. How much is a “meaningful amount”? We have no idea, but don’t hold your breath for any concerts in North America, as it’s unlikely that Pete Doherty will be allowed into the country.
