Inside In/Inside Out has already reached double platinum status in England. Australia and Japan have seen domestic releases. So the real question is: why is it, after the success of just about any British grouping of musicians on these shores, that we have to wait until October 3 for Astralwerks (thanks guys!) to release the Kooks debut record in the US?
I forked over something like $23 to get that jam on import a few months back. Now apparently The US version will have an exclusive track and video, so Im probably going to have to fork more money over to the Capitalist record producing machine.
News of the release over here has definitely caused more than a mere spark of interest, but as of yet no tour has been scheduled. But rest assured that the Kooks are more than likely going to steal our hearts away soon enough and more of my money.
