The Knack vs. Run DMC in the battle of who could care less

via whudahexup
And you thought diddlings by priests were the only repressed memories that could lead to lawsuits years later. Not quite. Dig this: The Knack is suing Run DMC, saying they sampled from their (one) hit "My Sharona" without permission. Fair enough. Happens quite often. But here's the kicker: Run DMC's song in question, "It's Tricky," came out 20 YEARS AGO!!! 20 years! The suit was filed just last Friday. Wow. Dudes, get over it. Possibly the only remaining revelant party in this mess is Rick Rubin who, since he produced the track, is also named in the suit.

yeah... maybe it took them 20 years cuz they don't listen to SHIT like that.. they listen to real music. Why is every1 on Run DMC's side?? seriously.. they are the ones that stole the music and they are the band that sounds like CRAP and isn't REAL music, The Knack actually plays their OWN music.

[...] Edit: eagle-eyed readers have noted this as a duplicate article. That’s half-true; the suit against Run DMC has been known for a while, but the fact that music services have also been named is a new revelation. [...]
