All it took was one word from Horrors frontman Faris Badwan to quell rumors of albums delays surrounding the campy rock-turned-psych outfit.
On the band's official forum, Badwan replied with a simple "JULY" when responding to comments about the Horrors' third album and follow-up to 2009's solid, Geoff Barrow-produced effort, Primary Colours. The well-coiffed singer, meanwhile, is plenty busy these days as he's also pulling double-duty by fronting his side project, Cat Eyes, who will release their Broken Eyes EP at month's end and a full-length come April.
NMEnotes that Badwan wants Cat Eyes and The Horrors to coexist, which is the surefire way to avoid any conflict of interest whatsoever.
at the XL listening session the other day I believe the head of XL said June or July
