The Hood Internet is back for more

Those inveterate masher-uppers Steve Reidell and Aaron Brink, better known as the masterminds of The Hood Internet, are known for posting new mashups on their website at a dizzying rate, creating culture-clash pairings like Bun B vs. Squarepusher and Lil' Kim vs. MGMT with geeky glee. If the rate of their regular postings has slowed a bit, it's because they've been getting ready to unleash their new full-length mix, The Hood Internet vs. Chicago, which creates happy collisions of Chicago rappers like Kanye West and Twista with Windy City indie bands, including The Sea and Cake and Chin Up Chin Up. The monster mash is set to become available for free download from the H.I. site on May 27.
