Damon Albarn announces new project:The Good The Bad And The Queen

Say hello to the world's newest Super Group. The Good, The Bad and The Queen is a new project featuring Damon Albarn (Blur/Gorillaz), Paul Simonon (The Clash), Tony Allen (Fela Kuti/Africa 70) and Simon Tong (The Verve). The foursome will be making their live debut in London at the Roundhouse on October 26, as part of the BBC's Electric Proms, where they'll be playing their forthcoming album in its entirety. Yes, the show is already sold out.
As for the album, expect the eponymous debut to hit shelves in January. Oh, in case you're wondering, it's produced by Danger Mouse. The first single, "Herculian" will be hitting airwaves in the UK on October 9. Once we get a complete tracklisting, we'll pass it along.
