The Gaslight Anthem Sign To Mercury, Readying New Album For 2012

New Jersey punks, and Bruce Springsteen faves, The Gaslight Anthem have announced they are leaving the indie label SideOneDummy, which released the band's two records, for the major label environs of Mercury. The band is readying their major label debut for early 2012, as the group is promising "their best yet." It will follow up the band's 2010 album, American Slang. We're not going to act like a punk band moving to a major label matters in 2011, so, good luck to Gaslight Anthem, who are probably just one killer single away from being huge.  [130 BPM]
