"Wouldn't Get Far," the Kanye and Game collab off Doctor's Advocate (and the sixteenth-best song of 2006), has finally gotten the deluxe video treatment, and the result seems perched right between 'frustratingly same old, same old' and 'kind of spot-on.' In just over four minutes of elbow-nudging, wink-wink self-reflexivity, the two rappers ride Mr. West's syrupy soulful backing track to meta-fruition, simultaneously exposing the 'truth' about video vixens and perpetuating it.
We think it's a bit of a conceptual mess, yet still circuitously thought-provoking. But you, what do you think? Leave a comment and let us know.

I enjoyed it. I wish they would have used a little more of the Pop-Up Video style funny blurbs, but it's still better than the majority of videos out now. |

That's a pretty funny video as far as music videos go nowadays, but it almost seems to encourage being a video chick.
