The Frames: new album, tour, Sundance success

Forget old ladies--Frames lead-singer Glen Hansard is definitely having the best week ever. He plays the lead male role in the film Once, which garnered plenty of positive buzz at Sundance, picking up the World Cinema Audience Award. Hansard plays a street musician in the movie, and two of the tunes he belts out will appear on The Frames' next album, The Cost, out February 20th on Anti-. The Irish lads recorded their sixth release in France, putting down everything live to try to capture the energy of their shows.
