The Five Most Atrocious Michael Jackson Covers

While most media outlets are still reverberating from Michael Jackson's untimely death, The Daily Swarm thought to put together a satisfyingly funny list of "Five Atrocious Michael Jackson Covers." The list contains a page of YouTube clips with bands attempting to recreate The King of Pop's trademark tunes. A few entries include Chris Cornell covering "Billie Jean," Boyzone covering "Ben" and Alien Ant Farm's "Smooth Criminal." Hey! I always liked that one... Rachel, I wouldn't describe Chris Cornell's cover of "Billie Jean" as atrocious. There are a lot of Cornell fans out there that would take great issue with you on this one!

Have you EVER heard Cornell perform it LIVE? The bluesy sound he gives to his interpretation of Billie Jean always leaves me with goosebumps.

Save "atrocious" for another artist and another song.

The chris cornell version of billie jean just came on the radio. It was the worst thing I've ever heard in my life. Chris cornell ruined that song. There was nothin blues about it. It was alternative rock crap. People need to stop thinking they can do any justice to the king of pops music. Michael jacksons music is in a class of its own, and most musicians (myself included) cannot fathom how to do anything as well as he could. People like chris cornell and fall out boy are stupid for even trying.

Alien ant farm's version is better than the original Smooth Criminal!
