The Feelies Readying New LP, First In 20 Years
Indie rock O.G.s The Feelies have announced plans to release a new LP in 2011, their first since 1991's Time for a Witness. The band recently reunited to play a few shows in the last few years, and 2009 saw the reissue of their influential Crazy Rhythms LP and their Peter Buck-produced sophomore album, The Good Earth. The album, which does not yet have a title, is due out via Bar/None, and the band has finished up the basic tracking for it. [P4K]
