Elvis Costello cannot be stopped in his sinister plot to take over the planet. It's apparently not enough that the New Wave pioneer (yes kids, before he earned his thick veneer of respectability he was once a rock & roll enfant terrible) can be seen just about everywhere you look -- here's Elvis duetting with Lucinda Williams on her new album, there he is performing on late-night TV with Jenny Lewis, hey, wait a minute...I've got Elvis in my breakfast cereal! In an apparent attempt to change the meaning of the old Mojo Nixon tune "Elvis is Everywhere," The Ubiquitous One will soon be hosting his own show on the Sundance Channel. 

Spectacle: Elvis Costello With...will feature a wide variety of musicians in conversation and performance, and Costello's roster of guests will include Lou Reed, She & Him, the aforementioned Ms. Lewis, Rufus Wainwright, Kris Kristofferson, and plenty more classic and contemporary artists. The first episode is set to air on December 3. In the meantime we can all take solace in the fact that Costello's British origins will prevent him from vying for the Oval Office come 2012.
