It appears that The Decemberists are spending a lot of time in the studio while also keeping with the monarch theme of their latest album, The King is Dead. Colin Meloy and company will release a new EP, Long Live the King, in November that will likely continue the stories told on the aforementioned full-length. It features five new tracks along with a cover of Grateful Dead's "Row Jimmy." That's the cover art for the EP above this text.
You can view the EP's track listing and a live version of "Row Jimmy" below. Long Live the King drops Nov. 1 on Capitol.
