Dead Weather, the new band featuring Jack White and Alison Mosshart from the Kills, is set to make its television debut this week on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, as the band has been booked to play on Thursday night (June 18). Jack White has had a long, genial friendship with Conan dating back to when the White Stripes performed a residency in advance of Elephant, and performed as one of the last guests during Conan's Late Night stint, so it makes sense that his new band would be debuting on Conan's stage.
The band is reportedly going to perform "Treat Me Like Your Mother," the second single from its upcoming debut album, Horehound, which is due out on July 14. [NME]
