The Dead Weather’s Jonathan Glazer-directed video for “Treat Me Like Your Mother” has just been issued (see below) and the band has also unleashed its Horehound album on the world. To celebrate, Jack White is opening a temporary branch of his Third Man record store in New York City on July 16, at 131 Chrystie Street (between Broome and Delancey) on the Lower East Side.
The Dead Weather will perform on the opening day of the store (ie. this Thursday), which will only be open to the first 100 people to pick up a wristband. The performance is scheduled to begin at 12pm, so get there early if you want to experience an up-close look at White and his latest cronies. The Third Man store will close after its two-day residency on July 17.
