The Chemical Brothers have produced some innovative music video work, particularly with the mind-bending visuals of the Michel Gondry directed “Let Forever Be.” But their new single “Midnight Madness” is set to feature innovation of a different kind. The boys have decided to utilize some of the properties of Google Earth to shoot a promo for the track. The band’s website features a posting encouraging fans to create films or photographs inspired by the title of the song. The clips should then be uploaded to Google Earth and tagged with the location of the creator. The films should be no longer than two minutes long and may feature on the final video for the track, which will be edited by the Nexus team and will debut on September 1.
