In what’s been a busy past few weeks for them publicly, The Black Keys announced that they’ll be heading back into the studio in July to begin work on their follow up to El Camino.
During an interview with Rolling Stone, drummer Patrick Carney, who’s always good for a soundbite or two, said: “We don’t know when we’ll be done but we’re starting it in July. We might not finish it until March since we have to tour so much but we’ll see. We don’t know what’s going on. After July, we’ll be able to know how long it’ll take.”
Perhaps the hardest working band in the biz, you can rest assured that The Black Keys are going to keep touring and putting out music on a consistent basis for the foreseeable future.
