Here's some good new for those of us not enamored with the Black Eyed Peas' jingles: The group's recently released The Beginning is poised to be the worst-performing Black Eyed Peas album (at least in first week sales, but, fingers crossed) since before they added Fergie. None of the singles ("The Time" especially) have taken off, and the album will just barely crack the Top 10 this week, once chart numbers are announced. It's expected to lose handily to Susan Boyle (whose The Gift is sure to fill Grandmas' Christmas stockings), Kanye, Taylor Swift, and, in a gift for our schadenfreude, the cast of Glee. It might even lose to a Josh Groban album and an acoustic Justin Bieber album, and will sell likely less than half of the 300,000 copies that the group sold of The E.N.D.. We'll know for sure on Wednesday. [HitFix]
