Queens-based trio The Beets are the latest act to sign with Hardly Art, a label that's also home to Gem Club, Jacuzzi Boys, and Xray Eyeballs. And The Beets will make their debut on the Seattle, Wash.-based label next month with their third album to date, Let the Poison Out. It's a 13-track, scrappy-and-jangly affair that finds the band poised to reach a bigger fanbase, though that's been steadily occuring since Howard Stern discussed the Beets on his radio show earlier this year. They're also playing a few gigs in the coming month or so.
