The Beatles and Jay-Z Run the Billboard Charts

As expected, Jay-Z took the top spot on the Billboard 200 this week, as his Blueprint 3 moved 476,000 copies, giving the rapper his 11th number one album. The only act that has more number one albums than Jigga? The Beatles.

The Beatles catalog shifted big numbers last week as well, moving 626,000 albums across a bunch of album reissues, giving them 13 of the top 14 spots on the Top Catalog charts. Abbey Road was the top seller, moving 89,000 copies, making it the third best selling album this past week behind Jay and Miley Cyrus.

The Beatles box sets will clock in on the Top 200 as well, with In Stereo hitting number 15, and In Mono clocking in at number 40. Head to Billboard for more number crunching.
