Weird, sunny, post-Beach Boys indie rockers The Apples In Stereo will be performing tonight on the Colbert Report (11:30 p.m. EST, Comedy Central). They join an eclectic group of bands that have recently performed on the show, including Nas, Rush, Toby Keith, and Crosby, Stills and Nash.
Though presumably they will not sit down with Colbert on a box of petitions attacking Fox New Channel's racism, the Denver musicians will be performing their quasi-political song "Can You Feel It" from their recent album, New Magnetic Wonder. In it they ask us to "turn off the stereo" and "drown out the bullshit on the radio."
