Terry Crews is onboard for the upcoming fourth film in the Friday franchise. During an interview with Nerd Reactor, Crews mentioned that he will be reprising his role from Friday After Next and claimed his role in the upcoming will be more than just a cameo.
No confirmation of his involvement has been made by the film’s production company, New Line Cinema, but it seems more likely than that Idiocracy web series that Crews hinted at earlier this month.
Ice Cube first announced the sequel months ago with the rumored title Last Friday. He also claimed that Chris Tucker would be returning to the series. However, Cube may have jumped the gun on making that claim: Tucker recently told IndieWire, “we’ll see what happens, but I doubt it. … I don’t know if we can find that magic again.”
Apart from the Friday sequel, Crews is also attached to The Weinstein Company’s Scary Movie 5 and will be voicing a character in Cloudy 2: Revenge of the Leftovers.
