The first fallout from Russell Brand's phone prank reached American shores today, as both The Killers and Miley Cyrus found themselves caught in television limbo. The BBC has suspended Brand and fellow comedian Johnathan Ross over a prank call the duo made on Brand's now defunct radio show, where the they repeatedly called actor Andrew Sachs and left messages on his answering machine detailing Brand's relationship with his granddaughter. How, might you ask, does this affect the world's greatest Mormon rock band and the face of all things Disney? Both were scheduled to appear on Ross's talk show which, after the calls, doesn't currently exist. Neither party has commented on how they would fill the opening in their schedules, but something tells me neither of them will be hitting the pubs. [NME]
